Members of The Sixteen, one of the finest choirs in the world, come to Jersey to sing songs through the ages, from Tallis to the Beatles.
This concert brings together the exceptional talents of an ensemble formed by members of The Sixteen, one of the world’s most distinguished vocal groups. With an Artist Residency at Wigmore Hall and a roster of prestigious awards—including the Classical BRIT and Gramophone Awards—The Sixteen have become a treasured presence in classical music, acclaimed for their "unfailing excellence" (Independent) and their ability to "lift us up to another world" (The Telegraph).
The program celebrates choral masterpieces, from Vaughan Williams to the Beatles, encompassing Renaissance anthems, spirituals, such as My Lord What a Morning, contemporary partsongs such as Blue Bird, and beloved popular tunes, including Blue Moon and Over the Rainbow. Sponsored by Seabourn, this performance promises an inspiring journey of sings through the ages through the beauty and power of the human voice.
Please note that this is a free seating concert, allowing guests to choose their preferred seats on a first-come, first-served basis with two tiers. Tier 1 are the best seats.
