What is Jersey Sings?
Jersey Sings is the largest and most fun educational event of the year. 10 weeks of learning comes together in concerts featuring around 1000 Jersey children singing and dancing to music from Coldplay to Disney.
Virtual Jersey Sings! 2020
The Jersey Sings team at Music in Action were pleased that Jersey Sings! 2020 went forward in 2020 despite the Covid-19 outbreak - albeit in a slightly different format.
Jersey Sings! 2020 took place in the form of a fun and educational virtual video recording! Students from over 20 Jersey schools and choirs individually recorded a medley of World War Two songs which were edited together to create a video.
It was remarkable how the Jersey Sings team responded to the Covid 19 outbreak and kept the community connected at this difficult time.
Jersey Sings 2019
Jersey Sings! 2019 took place at Trinity Showground on 19th and 20th June. Transformed into an arena setting, 1,400 singing stars from 28 schools presented a great selection of medleys, popular songs from shows and ballads that appealed to all generations.
The awesome choir was supported by the fantastic 7-piece Jersey Sings! rock band and included performances from international stars and local artists.
“Looking forward to next year already, full of fun, entertainment, atmosphere, great tunes, fabulous little voices, LOVED IT!”
