We are delighted to announce that Jersey Sings Across the Bay 2025 is on Wednesday 26th June 2025. It will be a glorious day of singing, dancing and percussion. As well as the performance on the beach there will be two musical theatre concerts on 25th and 26th June with the west end stars of the show.
The theme will be Musical Theatre and more will be announced shortly.
Overview Schedule
Part 1
11-12.30pm - School Mass Choir Workshop at the Beach Amphitheatre (steps by la Fregate Cafe) and Schools
1.00-1.45pm - MASS PERFORMANCE: 500-1000 children singing together at the beach amphitheatre by Castle Slip.
Part 2
7-9pm - Musical Theatre Concert at the St Helier Methodist Church. This will be on both 25th and 26th June

Jersey Sings Across the Bay returns in 2025
The island’s largest music Festival Jersey Sings Across the Bay takes place on 26th June 2025.
The Festival is outdoors centering on Jardins de la Mer and the Beach Amphitheatre by la Fregate Cafe.
This event is more than a concert. It puts music at the heart of island life and is a huge showcase for the arts in Jersey. For the schools we want to ensure that every child in Jersey has the opportunity to make music and experience the rare thrill of performing in a very large event.
Over 15 schools are due to take part from Janvrin to Haute Vallee. At 1 pm, children from 15 primary schools will perform in a huge massed choir at the Beach Arena by Jardins de la Mer.
School Workshops in 2024-25
Jersey SIngs has more singing in 2024-25 in workshops. The incredible singing leader Alexander L’Estrange will be directing who has led massed choir workshops across the UK and in America.
On 25th-27th November 2025, there will be workshops in schools with Alexander L’Estrange. Five choir pieces will be performed at Jersey Sings Across the Bay from We will Rock You, to Money, Money Money from Mamma Mia and two more with solo singers.
The workshops we will provide are aimed primarily at students in KS2 and the start of KS3. See musicjersey.com/projects for more information.
Primary Schools - Jersey Sings Across the Bay - Wednesday 26th June 2025
Each Primary School can join the massed choirs at the Beach Arena to rehearse from 11-12.30pm and then perform at 1pm. This will be led by the Jersey Sings Band and some leading singer soloists who will get the children very excited!
Secondary schools are invited to send a variety of ensembles, class groups of all styles. We would like the whole school to be represented as this is a huge celebration of music in the island. It can be Brass Band, rock or pop, steel band, school choir, you name it. Together with you we want to put music at the heart of island life.
Other information
Music in Action will be using the event to fundraise for musical education provided to schools and the community including Jersey Sings 2025.
Audience members will be encouraged to buy a ticket or donate to the event to raise funds for the charities’ work.
Merchandise
There will be “merch” being Jersey Sings T-shirts, water bottles and Jersey Sings buckets and spades to be purchased by students or schools. The deadline will be early May to order these.
