Performers fill the picturesque cove and its environs with music. Come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Rozel bay starting from the rose garden at Rozel Pub with a guided walk around Rozel Fort and its fabulous gardens serenaded by international violin soloist Harriet Mackenzie and friends. Music includes Bach inventions, Mozart Duos and the great tango La Cumparsita.
Historian Ian Ronayne leads the walk speaking about the history in the occupation, and actress Flora MacAngus animates the walk with historical monologues. Music in Action is partnering with the Jersey Academy of Music so that the walk will also feature a saxophone quintet. It will be a stunning chance to see the beautiful gardens spread over a dramatic hillside with stunning views out to sea across 180 degrees and over to France.
Tickets: £17.50 per person; £5 child ticket; £1 OAP discount
VIP tickets with a Hamper £200 - picnic in Rozel Fort
Music in Action is a Jersey registered charity that provides musical education to the people of Jersey including a focus on provision to disadvantaged children. The walk is up a hill and over uneven ground so is not recommended for those who are not steady on their feet.
