Music in Action brought world-class spanish guitarist Carlos Bonell to Jersey to perform outreach in schools and concerts as well as “slap” guitarist Vicki Genfan and Harriet Mackenzie.
Featuring on the most acclaimed recording of the Rodrigo Guitar Concerto and asked by Sir Paul McCartney to write a guitar concerto.
Around 300 children benefitted from Carlos’s amazing workshops. This was 3 of 15 outreach workshops in the Guitar Festival which reached out to over 1000 children in total through Music in Action’s guitar festival. As well as Carlos, Vicki Genfan gave 4 workshops in schools.
