Over two nights around 1400 children, chaperones and volunteers came together to perform pop, rock, choral, african and other great musical styles at Jersey Sings 2017. Jersey Sings is our largest single project. Children spent 10 weeks learning nearly 4000 words by memory, improving breathing and posture, confidence, teamwork, and developing the physical stamina to sing for nearly 2 hours on their feet.
The results were described by the teachers from 28 schools taking part as: "It was such a fantastic event that the children will always remember." and "in my opinion the gains are immeasurable in terms of well-being and self-confidence."
The children said, "It was Epic" , "It was brilliant...I can't stop singing" and, "A fabulous experience, can't wait for next year!"
