A special evening of chamber music in Battery Moltke, celebrating the 150th anniversary of composer and WWI Veteran Ralph Vaughan Williams
A quintet of world-class soloists will join forces for this special evening of chamber music as part of Liberation International Music Festival.
Celebrating the 150th anniversary of composer and WWI Veteran Ralph Vaughan Williams’ birth, the programme features three Jersey premieres including the composer’s epic C Minor Piano Quintet, chamber music by Charles Stanford and Hubert Parry, and Schubert’s ever popular Trout Quintet.
The stellar line-up features international soloist Alexander Sitkovetsky; prize-winning pianist Wu Qian; Grammy-nominated violist Maxim Rysanov; international concert cellist and chamber musician Dora Kokas; and young star Will Duerden.
A profound evening of chamber music in the beautifully lit setting of Battery Moltke will create an unforgettable commemoration as part of Liberation International Music Festival 2022.
