Our final night in the 2022 International Guitar Festival sees acclaimed jazz and blues guitarist Remi Harris and virtuoso double bassist Tom Moore present an evening of music ranging from the acoustic jazz of the 30s and 40s to the electric blues of the 60s and 70s.
Remi’s unique style draws inspiration from artists such as Django Reinhardt, Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery and Led Zeppelin. He has performed at some of the most renowned events and venues in the world, including the Montreal Jazz Festival, Buckingham Palace, BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall with Jamie Cullum, on BBC 4 Television and live on BBC Radio 2 & 3. Audiences will be treated to a night of eclectic musical entertainment, with guitar and double bass engaged in an intimate, effortless instrumental conversation. Expect new spins on jazz standards and familiar tunes, improvisations, and original compositions. The ease and warmth of Remi’s stage presence, together with his virtuoso talent, will have concert goers captivated by his passion for the guitar.
2022 also sees the release of Remi’s long-awaited third album ‘On Track’ and a newly published guitar book ‘100 Gypsy Jazz Guitar Licks’. His output has received accolades from the likes of Dr Martin Taylor MBE who recently said

iNTERNATIONAL GUITAR FESTIVAL
Music in Action are launching Jersey’s first Guitar Festival from 13th to 15th October. Featuring Spanish guitarist Andrea Gonzalez-Caballero flying in from Miami on 13th and 14th, and Jazz and Blues master Remi Harris described by Jamie Cullum as “incredible” on 15th October.
Enjoy three amazing concerts from St Ouen’s Manor to CCA Galleries. As well as the public events, the musicians will be going into schools and holding a series of workshops and masterclasses to inspire Jersey’s finest students and young children.
